UU Programs for Adults
Adults are highly motivated to explore and navigate the joys, sorrows, opportunities, and challenges of our lives. Sometimes you find religious growth through deliberate engagement with programs, practices, readings, and small group discussions. Sometimes you grow in spirit through your life experiences: relationships, making a living, raising children, confronting injustice in the world, and facing illness, loss, or grief.
When we do a UU Common Read together, we share in reflection, learning, and action. A Common Read can take us on a powerful journey into what it means to be human and accountable in a world filled with both pain and joy.
Adult Faith Development usually happens in small groups, where they can learn together, build relationships, and deepen their faith.
Older adulthood is a time to take stock of one's journey and to affirm that which is of most importance. It can be a rich time in the lives of adults.
