Peacemaking
NEW! Updated November 2009, a draft Statement of Conscience on Peacemaking.
From November 15, 2009, through February 1, 2010, congregations are invited to vote in the Congregational Poll. For a Draft Statement of Conscience (SOC) to appear on the 2010 General Assembly Final Agenda, our Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) bylaws require a minimum of 25% of certified congregations to participate in the ballot vote on whether the Draft SOC should be placed on the Final Agenda.
Be aware that comments and suggestions on the wording of the Draft SOC are invited by February 1, 2010 (comment submission will be available by November 15, 2009). Please base your vote on whether your congregation, or its representatives, believe the Draft SOC is worded well enough to be considered by the General Assembly, as refined by congregational comment before and during the 2010 General Assembly.

Email Distribution Lists
An email list is available for those who would like to be part of a network of UUs interested in or already helping to implement the Peacemaking CSAI. New ideas and suggestions are made and discussed, and are later brought to committees of activists currently making suggestions for the CSAI process.

A new email list is now also available for people who only want to receive announcements about national actions and deadlines.
