Iran Diplomacy

The serious tension that exists between the United States and Iran is fueled by a troubled history, nuclear ambitions, and a theological/political divide. There is very little trust between these two nations and there is much animosity. But underneath it all, there is the hope that citizens of both nations would rather see a peaceful future brought about by diplomacy, compromise, and understanding, than a violent future brought about through brinkmanship, proliferation, and fear. There is much at stake, and as a result it is important that our liberal religious values of tolerance and love be projected above the fear mongering that could lead us down the path of violence. Join the Unitarian Universalist Association as we support diplomatic efforts to bridge the divide between the United States and Iran.
