Health Care

From a resolution on mental health at our first General Assembly in 1961—and many subsequent statements calling for fair and accessible healthcare—to the recent creation of an Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) healthcare plan, the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations has a long history of concern and action in this arena.

Health care reform is an important justice issue and we want to connect concerned Unitarian Universalists (UUs) with meaningful opportunities for action. The first list below provides links to the three national coalition efforts of which the Association is an official member. The second list provides contact information for the UU State Advocacy Networks that have healthcare as one of their priority issues. We encourage you to connect with one or more of these groups. What you do makes a difference!
