Feel passionate about advocacy or community organizing?
Come put your POWER into ACTION at the 2010 Sexuality Education Advocacy Training!
The Sexuality Education Advocacy Training (SEAT) is an annual collaboration between the Unitarian Universalist Association, the United Church of Christ, Advocates for Youth, Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism and the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice.
The 6th annual SEAT will be held on
March 20-23, 2010, in Washington, DC! Apply Today!
Through workshops on community organizing, advocacy and anti-racism/anti-oppression, SEAT teaches youth, young adults and adult allies how to advocate effectively as people of faith for comprehensive sex education.
We welcome and encourage applicants from ALL spiritual/religious communities. Our programs are grounded in Unitarian Universalist, United Church of Christ and Reform Jewish values and faith traditions, and we look forward to creating a diverse spiritual community in which to learn, worship and advocate.
The four day training is a great opportunity to become more involved in advocacy and to lobby on Capitol Hill.
