Civil Liberties
Unitarian Universalists have a long tradition of being outspoken defenders of civil liberties in the United States. The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) Washington Office joined in 2001 with other religious and secular groups to fight troublesome provisions of the USA PATRIOT Act.
