Young Adults (Ages 18-35)

Unitarian Universalism respects the spiritual path that you are on. Within our congregations, you are free to explore spirituality in ways that are most meaningful to you, and in the embrace of a community. We are not going to give you the answers to your questions, rather we will provide a space for you in which you can find answers yourself.

Several Unitarian Universalist (UU) congregations offer specific programs for young adults, including campus ministries, regular gatherings, and worship experiences. Beyond congregations, Unitarian Universalist young adults gather for camps, conferences, and trainings that focus on development as leaders, justice-seekers, and persons of faith.

In congregations and young adult groups, people from different backgrounds and with divergent philosophies come together to find and explore what we have in common. Many of our congregations seek to engage in intentional work around anti-racism and anti-oppression, to understand the different levels on which power works, and to create structures to make our work accountable to people regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or class background.
