UU & Me!
Collected Stories
Like Unitarian Universalism itself, these stories are diverse in content and style but share a common grounding in the search for truth, beauty and love. Read them aloud and discover what thoughts and feelings they uncover for your family. Use them as a tool for learning more about our faith heritage. Or simply leave them on the bedside table of a young reader in your life. The child you give this collection to is sure to discover what it means to be a Unitarian Universalist kid.”
—from the Introduction
Here are 26 stories culled from the first 5 years of uu&me!, the popular kids’ magazine published by the Church of the Larger Fellowship (CLF). Fact and fiction, historical and modern, mythical and real-life, these stories have the power to spark imagination and stimulate reflection on how our faith informs our real lives. Includes biographical sketches of historical figures significant within Unitarian Universalism, and a selection of stories about Raychel and Tony, the two fictional kids who appear regularly in uu&me!, sharing UU Principles in action.
Editor Betsy Hill Williams was the director of religious education at CLF for more than 10 years.

other from the inside."

"I've
been trying to help my congregation involve
children in social action and
this will be a wonderful teaching tool."

"My 8-year-old just got her first and she has all but slept with it! She hauls it in
the car and to school, and has read the articles aloud to both her mother and
me."
