Advertising Resources for Your Congregation
The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) has marketing and advertising materials for Unitarian Universalist (UU) congregations including both in-stock hard copy items to buy and electronic files free-of-charge for making and publishing materials locally. Your congregation may also wish to make use of the media through public relations (PR), through new media outlets, or by creating and producing your own radio or podcast program for outreach. Please refer to our information on buying media when considering advertising for television, radio, outdoor (billboards, banners, bumper stickers, etc.), print ads, internet, direct mail, niche marketing (various alternative ideas), or web sites. Examples are given in addition to a discussion of important considerations in using these various media. Congregations' cost for these materails will be only those charged by the media outlets contracted with. The UUA makes no charge for the use of the designs and ads.The "tag line" for the UUA's national marketing campaign is "Nurture Your Spirit. Help Heal Our World." Graphics for this are available for production of items in various media such as outdoor banners, t-shirts, bumper stickers, and print ads.
The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) has developed Time Magazine ads and Imagine a Religion... ads that your congregation can use in local advertising media.
Order Hard-copy Advertising Materials Online
Our professionally designed "Nurture Your Spirit. Help Heal Our World" postcards are now available to your congregation. These are 4" x 6" sized postcards in full color on the front with a blank matte finish on the back, ready for your congregation's message, event, or contact information to be printed by laser printer. They can be sent at the regular postcard rate. These postcards come in packs of 100 for $18, and they can be ordered using our online order form.
"Nurture Your Spirit. Help Heal Our World" buttons can be worn on clothes, luggage of other items. These are circular 2.25" diameter and cost 50 cents a piece, with a minimum order of 10.
We also have bumper stickers for sale with the same "Nurture Your Spirit. Help Heal Our World" tag line. These bright, eye-catching bumper stickers are 3.75" x 15." They are $2 each, and the minimum order is ten. You can order them using the online order form.
Our "Nurture Your Spirit. Help Heal Our World." outdoor banner (PDF) is ready made of PVC-coated canvass with multiple grommets for hanging. It is available at a lower price than local printing would afford, due to our large print run. It is 5 feet high by 15 feet wide (5' x 15') and costs $175 (including shipping). Order a banner online and we will invoice your congregation. Please see our care instructions (PDF) to preserve the banner.
