Planning for Growth and Vitality for the Small Congregation
This program uses a multi-faceted approach to help congregations identify current strengths and determine some strategic directions for further growth and vitality. In addition, participating congregational teams learn:- Specific turnaround strategies for the small membership congregations.
- How to effectively incorporate visitors and new members into the life and ministry of the congregation.
- How to connect the vision, mission, programs, and specific outreach efforts of your congregations.
- How to respond to some specific areas of concern: volunteer recruitment, finances, and quality of worship and programs.
- A planning method that guides your work with your congregation following the workshop.
This workshop typically takes place on a Friday evening, all day Saturday and Sunday until 2:00 p.m.
