Investment Information Memorandum Disclosure
In operating the Unitarian Universalist Common Endowment Fund (UUCEF) the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) relies on the Philanthropy Protection Act of 1995 which exempts the UUCEF and the UUA from certain state securities laws and regulations. However, certain states have opted out of the Philanthropy Protection Act of 1995 and therefore the UUA must comply with the securities laws of these states. Accordingly, the UUA is currently in the process of confirming that it is in compliance or complying with the state securities laws of Florida and Pennsylvania. If your congregation is located in one of these states you cannot rely on this Investment Information Memorandum and should contact the Treasurer of the UUA directly regarding your investment.
