May 2009: Spring Forward with Youth Ministry
Dear Friends,
May is going to be a busy month and the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) departments have a lot of information for you as we all gear up for the summer.
Following a multi-year process, Youth Ministry’s Working Group’s report has been published; see the flyer from Youth Ministry for details and information.
The Office of Identity Based Ministries has released the Mosaic Project report offering recommendations for Unitarian Universalist (UU) ministry to Youth and Young Adults of Color.
Skinner House Books has released a new book about Earth Day called Earth Day: An Alphabet Book so parents can celebrate our earth year round with their children.
And for those of you attending General Assembly (GA) this year check out the flyer on workshops for small congregations. Sign up for them and learn more about your leadership style or how conflict can be the catalyst for positive change.
As usual, please share this information with others and let me know if you have any questions.
In Peace,
Sabe Graham
