Initial Adoption of BylawsIf you are proposing bylaws for a new congregation, you may wish to include a provision dealing with their initial adoption. Keep in mind that the process used should reflect the decision-making philosophy of the congregation.
Example 1: The initial adoption of these bylaws shall be by majority vote of those persons attending a meeting called and held for such purpose, without regard to any voting qualifications or requirements provided for in these bylaws.
