Walking the Walk: Promoting Responsible Investments
We seek to advance the work of the Committee on Socially Responsible Investing (CSRI) by providing dedicated staff support and resources. This program will allow the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) to take a leadership role in the Global Warming Shareholder Campaign, thus carrying out the mandate of the 2006 General Assembly (GA) Statement of Conscience. The new program will enable greater collaboration with other socially responsible and religious investors, more cooperation with congregational leaders, participation in direct company dialogues, and greater visibility for the UUA's positions.
- $84,000 will provide 1/2 time staff support and resources for the CSRI for one year.
- $167,000 will provide full time staff support and resources for the CSRI for one year.
