It’s Just Not the Same Without You
Where have all the young people gone? The transition out of the religious education program into the youth program, and later, out of the youth program and into the wider congregation creates enormous gaps where we continuously lose thousands of young Unitarian Universalists. If we kept half of the young people we lose each year, we would greatly increase our growth rate. We are currently in the middle of a two-year process of assessment and discernment on how we can better minister to our youth, reduce loss and offer a Unitarian Universalist faith of lifelong meaning and value for children and youth. We seek to fully implement the recommendations of the assessment team
- $1,000,000 will begin to fund the implementation of the recommendations of Consultation on Ministry to and With Youth (CMWY).
- $10,000,000 will enable us to fully implement all recommendations of the CMWY.
