Standing on the Side of Love in Salt Lake City
Standing on the Side of Love (SSL), the new public advocacy campaign promoting respect for the inherent worth and dignity of every person, launched at General Assembly (GA) last month!
Read about our banner, which the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) displayed from the large tower of the Salt Palace Convention Center in downtown Salt Lake City. Thanks to your many gifts, we were able to send a strong message that we all, as Unitarian Universalists (UUs), are standing on the side of love.

Growing Our Faith in Witness and Diversity
At General Assembly last month, you gave over $36,000 to benefit programs including the President’s Freedom to Marry Fund and the President William G. Sinkford Fund!
UU Military Handbook to Begin Production
Thanks to your exceptional generosity, the UUA has reached its goal of $25,000 to produce a collection of materials that provides encouragement and comfort to Armed Service men and women in their times of need.
Association Sunday Update
As of July 14th, 2009, 333 congregations have registered to help Grow Our Faith in Diversity. Thank you for answering the call to affirm our common bonds and purposes, even during these challenging times.

The Now is the Time Campaign is a Success!
As President Sinkford announced on June 24th, 2009, the Now is the Time Campaign exceeded its goal (and is still counting!) of $50 million as of General Assembly 2009!
