The Interdependent Web
“This award means a lot more to me than just the reduction of my debt load. It is an affirmation that the UUA [Unitarian Universalist Association]—and UUs [Unitarian Universalists] who donate to this scholarship—value [my seminary] and its commitment to educating students of diverse backgrounds for religious leadership, especially Unitarian Universalist ministry,” says Karen Green, recipient of the John A. Buehrens Ministerial Scholarship. “Receiving this grant affirms that I am where I am meant to be. It reaffirms my faith in the interconnected and interdependent web of existence.”
Your donations to the UUA and special scholarship funds provide over 60 scholarships per year to students preparing to answer their calls to Unitarian Universalist ministry at seminaries across the country.
