Association Sunday is Here
Association Sunday is this Sunday, October 12th. Hundreds of chalices are being lit this Sunday and on Sundays to come in celebration of our Association.
As of today, October 7th, 512 congregations representing over 111,000 Unitarian Universalists have signed up to affirm our common bonds as an entire family of congregations, and participate on this special day. And we anticipate more will be joining us!
We are deeply grateful for all the gifts of time, talent, and treasure you have offered—to set the stage for a celebratory and successful second annual Association Sunday.
How You Can Help to Grow Our Spirit
Please consider a gift of $50 or more on Association Sunday 2008 to make this year’s service even more successful than the last!
Last year, Association Sunday raised over $1.4 million to support efforts to Grow Our Numbers, including the initiation of the UUA’s first national marketing campaign in over 50 years. (Read the Association Sunday 2007 Final Report.)
But more than that, it served to empower and to energize our congregations. (Read stories about the transformative effects of Association Sunday 2007.)
And as you know, your contributions this year will help to Grow Our Spirit, by supporting programs for lay theological education and excellence in ministry.

If your congregation hasn’t yet signed up, it’s never too late! Many congregations have chosen to hold their special services later this fall, or even next calendar year.
Sign up to hold an Association Sunday 2008.
Thank you for your generosity!
