Scouting Tears Unitarian Universalist Consciences, Continued
General Assembly 2001 Event 5022
Sponsor: Interweave
Since the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) won Supreme Court approval to discriminate against gay, agnostic, and atheist Scouts, Unitarian Universalists (UUs) have faced the dilemma of how to align BSA policy with UU principles. Panelists describe their journeys in discerning how best to serve youth and affirming "the inherent worth and dignity of every person."
