Leading Congregations Into a Multiracial, Multicultural Future: Now is the Time!

Comments from the 2008 Conference

About the Rev. Jacqueline Lewis, PhD:

"Personally, I learned more about moving between groups and identities while maintaining personal integrity, from her than from any other minister I have ever witnessed."

About Dr. Shakti Butler:

"I found this session rich and meaningful.  It actually resulted in real engagement with others."

About the 2008 conference:

"Out of a possible 10, I rate this conference a 12!"

Building on the success of the February 2007 national conference, Congregational Services of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) invited Unitarian Universalists from throughout the continent to join other congregational leaders to explore the dynamics of creating multiracial, multicultural congregations and live this important work as we seek to build just and inclusive communities through our commitment that is rooted in Unitarian Universalist identity, theology, and values.
