Watch: Morning Song (Flash)
Alison Wilski led the large crowd gathered before Sunday morning worship in singing “Guide My Feet,” an African American traditional spiritual.
The next song shared was “De Colores,” with lyrics by David Arkin set against a traditional Spanish folk tune arranged by Betty Wylder. Wilski reviewed the Spanish lyrics for the congregation before beginning the song.
Morning Song concluded with “Come, Come Whoever You Are,” composed by Lynn Ungar with words by Sufi poet Rumi. Wilski split the room into sections to sing the song as a round, adding the chant, “Though you've broken your vows a thousand times.”
