Rainbow Chalice Graphic for Welcoming Congregations
Congregations may wish to display a rainbow chalice to indicate that they have participated in the Welcoming Congregation Program and have taken intentional steps to be more welcoming and inclusive of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
The rainbow chalice is available as a scalable vector image in Adobe Photoshop (PSD) with the following versions:
- Hard-line gradient (PDF)
- Soft-line gradient (PDF)
- Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) chalice with a rainbow gradient (PDF)
Offering visual cues like a rainbow chalice can make a big difference in how welcoming a congregation is perceived to be. Many congregations choose to create a unique rainbow chalice image to represent their congregation and their welcome. You may find that there are people in your congregation or group with artistic and/or graphic design skills who would be honored to be involved in the creation of such a design if you were to put out a call for one.
