Benefits and Compensation

The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) Office of Church Staff Finances works with information, services and programs for Unitarian Universalist (UU) congregations and their ministers, religious educators and other church staff employees in matters of benefit plans, aid funds, and fair compensation.

Retirement Plan Restatement

  • The New Participation Agreement, Restated Plan Document, and related information has been finalized.
  • Participating Employers must operate under their current participation agreement and the prior plan document until their completed new Participation Agreement has been acknowledged by the UUA Retirement Plan Committee, including consent regarding date of implementation.
  • Information about the Plan Restatement has been mailed to current participants.

Health Reform Alerts

The UUA Health Plan/Office of Church Staff Finances began providing Health Reform Alerts earlier this year in order to help answer questions that congregations face regarding national health care reform. Read about what is known, what is yet to be revealed, and how we think it will impact your congregation. Sign up to receive the latest information. You don’t need to be a participating congregation in our health plan to receive updates.
