Premiums for Dental Insurance
Unlike monthly premiums for Long-Term Disability (LTD) and Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment (Life/AD&D) coverage, dental insurance premiums are unrelated to the employee's annual earnings.
2013 Monthly Dental Premiums:
- Individual Employee: $49.75/mo.
- Employee + 1: $99.50/mo.
- Employee + 2 or more (Family): $120.75/mo.
Dental benefit enhancements for 2013 are effective January 1, 2013.
Note the new middle tier: Employee + 1. Employees enrolled during 2012 with coverage for themselves plus only one dependent will see a reduction in their monthly premium beginning with January, 2013 coverage; this is due to the addition of a new tier of coverage: Employee + 1.
Employees with coverage for self plus two or more dependents remain in the family tier.
2012 Monthly Dental Premiums
- Individual dental: $46.50/month
- Family coverage: $112.75/month for families of any size, including domestic partners.
