Our Unitarian Universalist history is an inspiration and guide for our future. Using the historical documents that we have collected, as well as members’ memories and stories, you can become familiar with the events of the last 50 years.
Then, we encourage your congregation to create its own worship service to mark the Unitarian Universalist Association's 50th anniversary. There are some wonderful 50th anniversary worship materials among this year's Association Sunday resources, including a collection of sermons preached for the occasion.
For further celebration, don't forget to join us for the UUA's 50th General Assembly in Charlotte in 2011 where a number of special events are being planned, including a commissioned work of music and a major worship service. Theologian Karen Armstrong will deliver the Ware Lecture.
