Leading Congregations Into a Multiracial, Multicultural Future: Now is the Time!
"Out of a possible 10, I rate this conference a 12!"
The third multiracial, multicultural conference happened in Tulsa, OK, in April 2009—offering a dynamic, meaningful program where participants learned how to merge the message and the reality of Inclusive Excellence into a congregation's ongoing growth strategy, attended multicultural worship services, and broadened their understanding of what it means to be truly welcoming.
Unitarian Universalist (UU) University 2009 gave attendees the chance to participate in six tracks full of information and training for the 21st Century.
Soul Work: Creating Welcoming Multicultural UU Communities was the multicultural track. Explore ways you and your congregation can break through fear, insecurity and socialization into a cycle of liberation and connection.
